Where do I even begin with these two? Marley found my work on Google in the fall of 2020. After our first coffee date, I knew capturing her and her boo’s Colorado adventure elopement was going to be a blast. For their engagements, we drove my 4runner up to a beautiful meadow and played around as I captured their playful love. It’s no surprise that a year and a half later, we began planning their dream wedding day in Ouray, Colorado by way of a 4×4 Jeep tour.
Marley and Bryan wanted something fun and unique. They gathered their family and closest friends, rented some jeeps, and we drove to the most beautiful basin in the mountains. At around 12,800 feet, these two love birds read their vows with their loved ones as their witness and a backdrop that felt like we were in the Swiss Alps. Don’t believe me? Keep scrolling to see!

Some may talk down on a rainy wedding day, but that wasn’t the case for this adventure elopement. It rained during the ceremony but the guests were troopers and it made for some sweet umbrella photos. Let me tell you, I was all for the rain as it brought low-hanging clouds for the couple portraits, and what a dream those were! Days like this make you feel like you’re out of this world. It’s a reminder of how beautiful Colorado truly is.

After the ceremony and portraits, we headed back to the venue where Marley & Bryan celebrated their love during their reception. The venue had a rooftop space with 360-degree mountain views. We rocked the dance floor out on the rooftop and made our way inside when it got too rainy. We quite literally danced the night away.

Perched high above the Vail Valley, the Vail Mountain Wedding Deck offers sweeping alpine views and a quiet that’s hard to find elsewhere. At over 10,000 feet, you quite literally rise above it all. With the Gore Range stretching endlessly behind you and Colorado’s beloved 14er, Mount of the Holy Cross, anchoring the horizon, the […]

Tucked into the Elk Mountains of western Colorado, you’ll find Crested Butte. It’s about four hours from Denver, but once you’re there, the pace shifts. You get less noise, more space, and better views, perfect for those dream summer mountain engagement photos. In the summer, it’s known as the wildflower capital of Colorado, and yes, […]

Jackie and Mike’s day is proof that a non-venue wedding in Telluride can be just as intentional, meaningful, and beautifully planned as any traditional celebration. They found me through a past bride (the best kind of introduction, if you ask me), and by the time we connected, there was already trust. They loved my work, […]

Snowy engagement photos in Vail are never a bad idea. You get consistent powder, open mountain views, and clean backdrops that don’t compete. The landscape is simple, which means the focus stays on the couple, not the scenery trying to steal the show. Snow softens everything visually, from light to color to texture. It creates […]

Meredith and Broderick’s late-August Telluride wedding unfolded with the kind of mountain-town charm that always keeps you on your toes—sun one minute, clouds the next. I covered their entire weekend, starting with the welcome evening and carrying all the way through the wedding day, which gave me the chance to document not just the big […]

Vail has no shortage of stunning backdrops, but when it comes to Vail wedding venues, there’s something undeniably magical about tying the knot in the mountains. Maybe it’s the crisp alpine air, the way the Gore Range catches the evening light, or the simple luxury of being surrounded by scenery that feels straight out of […]
