Sarah and Jason’s wedding was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches that reflected them as a couple. Held on a perfect summer day at Vail Resorts’ The 10th, their mountain wedding ceremony marked the venue’s opening day. The wedding seamlessly combined a traditional Jewish ceremony with their love for the mountains, skiing, and bluegrass music. Even their precious dog Piper joined in on the day, highlighting just how important she is to their lives.

Vail Resorts’ The 10th was a perfect mountain wedding destination for Sarah and Jason. Nestled at the top of the ski resort, it offered guests an exciting commute via Gondola and stunning views of Vail’s famous Gore Range. The scenic beauty and unique features made it a no-brainer for Sarah and Jason. Their initial vision was to blend their love for the mountains with a warm, welcoming celebration. Planning a mountain wedding came with challenges, like coordinating logistics and watching for unpredictable weather. Fortunately, the day went off without a hitch, and the wild weather held off until the dancing began. After a long engagement, everyone was thrilled to finally celebrate with them.

The ceremony had a totally insane mountain backdrop. The setup was elegant with a beautiful floral arch with pastels, and special moments like the couple’s heartfelt vows and the involvement of their pup made it unforgettable. Sarah and Jason, both Vail locals, added personal touches that made the day uniquely theirs.
The reception was equally beautiful, with hanging greenery and pops of color from the little wildflower centerpieces. The decor was a blend of rustic and chic. Having known this group of friends for a while, I felt like part of the family. I had documented other weddings in their circle over the years, making this one feel especially personal. Sarah and I shared wine dates discussing wedding plans, and I was thrilled when she asked me to capture their day. Custom cocktail napkins, beautiful invitations, and other thoughtful details stood out in the best way. The dining experience was exceptional, and everyone was so excited to be in their presence.

Ellen and Mark’s Camp Hale wedding was the kind of mountain day that keeps you on your toes. They actually found me through Instagram after falling in love with my editing style and how I capture couples looking natural. From our first chat, it was clear these two wanted their wedding photos to feel relaxed, […]

Rowan and Jake first popped up on my radar as guests at a wedding I photographed in June 2025. Though, funny enough, we didn’t actually meet that day (wedding chaos will do that to you). Fast-forward a few months, and they reached out after getting engaged at the end of summer, ready to dive into […]

Kyle and Abby’s celebration at The Mountain Wedding Garden in Crested Butte was a dream from start to finish—and for me, it became a love letter to wedding film photography. The groom is a big film enthusiast, so much so that he handed my husband (who is also my assistant) his Pentax 645 medium format […]

Anna and Zach’s Vail Golf Club wedding was the perfect mix of mountain magic and editorial elegance. Vail has always been Anna’s happy place—where she grew up skiing and where she and Zach first fell in love—so it was only natural to bring everyone they love back here to celebrate. From the very beginning, Anna […]

Kirsten and Will first slid into my DMs (well… my inquiry form, but that’s basically the same thing) back in June 2024. On it, Kirsten wrote, “I love your editing style and previous photos at Piney.” Piney Lake (Piney River Ranch) is one of my all-time favorite spots, so when I saw they were dreaming […]

There’s always something special about photographing a destination wedding, especially when it involves a place as stunning as Baja Luna in San José del Cabo. The bride happens to be best friends with one of the planners I work with frequently in Colorado. She was helping Elisa find a photographer, and after a little online […]
